Our Community Heritage

Great Torrington Pannier Market and Arcade has a rich history since its establishment in 1842. Nestled in North Devon, it carries a vibrant selection of home decor, sewing materials, antiques, fresh food, clothing and more. This historic market is housed within the Grade II* listed Market House, which also features the Great Torrington Heritage Museum and Archive. Our mission is to enhance community engagement by providing a platform for local vendors to showcase their products, facilitate trading opportunities, and promote events that celebrate our heritage and enhance local culture.
